Trust Center

Trust, on the record. Every policy in one place.

LawyerSOS is maintained by the LawyerSOS team to give customers, solicitors, and partners a single place to read how the platform protects sensitive moments. Every section below describes a control that is live in the product today.

Verified solicitors only

Every practising certificate is cross-checked against the Law Society of Ireland, the SRA, the Law Society of Scotland, or the Bar of Northern Ireland before a solicitor can take a case.

Encrypted evidence vault

Evidence is stored in private buckets and encrypted at rest with AES-256. Only you and your assigned solicitor can open your files.

Chain of custody

Every upload, view, and access event is logged with timestamps and reference IDs so evidence stands up to scrutiny if it ever needs to.

Recording consent

Consultations are only recorded when both customer and solicitor explicitly consent. Declining is one tap — the call continues normally.

GDPR-first architecture

Built on EU-resident infrastructure with strict data minimisation, role-based access, and a clear lawful basis for every category of data we process.

EU data residency

Customer data is stored within the European Economic Area. We do not transfer personal data outside the EEA without an appropriate safeguard.

Policies & notices

LawyerSOS is not a law firm.

Legal advice is provided by independent, qualified solicitors regulated in their own jurisdiction — including the Law Society of Ireland, the Solicitors Regulation Authority (England & Wales), the Law Society of Scotland, or the Bar of Northern Ireland. The platform connects you to those professionals securely; it does not provide legal advice itself.

In a life-threatening emergency

Always call 112 / 999 first. LawyerSOS is a legal protection service — it is not a substitute for emergency services.
